Michael Tatum, who initially joined the Barracudas Hockey Club in 2019, transitioned into the role of co-owner in 2023 while also serving as the team's assistant captain. His leadership, both on and off the ice, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the sport.
A dedicated family man, Michael's passion for hockey is only matched by his love for his loved ones. Beyond his duties with the team, he is deeply involved in the Mansfield community, actively working to share his love for the sport with local youth and promote its growth in the area.

Co-Owner & Social Media Manager
As the owner and social media manager of the Mansfield Barracudas, Josh brings a deep passion for hockey and a commitment to growing the game at the community level. With a background in content creation and a love for storytelling, he founded the Barracudas with the vision of creating a competitive, tight-knit team that brings energy both on and off the ice.
Through his popular brand Mic’d Up Messy , he showcases the behind-the-scenes grit and fun of beer league hockey, helping to spotlight the Barracudas and their journey. From game highlights and mic’d up moments to road trips and rivalries, he handles all digital content and social media, connecting fans and players alike with the heart of the team.
Whether it’s managing rosters, promoting events, or filming the next viral clip, Josh is always working to make the Barracudas more than just a team—it’s a movement.
Kevin Ely
Co-Owner & Personal
If the Mansfield Barracudas have a beating heart and a healthy pair of lungs, it’s Kevin Ely. As the team’s official Exercise Coordinator, Kevin is responsible for keeping the squad limber, mobile, and somewhat capable of touching their toes. A walking fitness manual and the poster child for clean living, he joined the Barracudas determined to prove that beer league hockey and elite-level wellness can, in fact, coexist.
On game days, Kevin turns the locker room into a training zone—foam rollers, stretch bands, and resistance cords in tow. He leads structured warmups, preaches injury prevention, and isn’t afraid to drop into a set of burpees while everyone else is still taping their sticks. Whether it’s hallway mobility drills or post-game stretches in the parking lot, Kevin keeps the Barracudas skating strong and staying loose.
Off the ice, Kevin’s the motivator and wellness guru the team didn’t know it needed. From sharing homemade protein bars to organizing off-ice workouts (and calling out anyone who skips them), he raises the standard. In a team full of characters, Kevin is the health nut with heart—and thanks to him, the Barracudas are arguably the best-conditioned team to ever average three beers a period.

Tim Hoffenkamp
Co-owner & Beverage Coordinator
Tim Hoffenkamp has been with the Mansfield Barracudas since their formation in 2024, serving as both Co-Owner and the team's legendary Beverage Coordinator. From day one, Tim has played a key role in shaping the team’s identity—blending strong leadership with an unmatched ability to keep spirits high, on and off the ice.
As Beverage Coordinator, Tim takes hydration seriously... maybe too seriously. Armed with his iconic cooler—known among the boys as “The Hoff Box”—he curates post-game refreshments with the care of a sommelier and the enthusiasm of a true hockey lifer. Whether it's celebrating a big win or shaking off a tough loss, Tim ensures that no Barracuda is ever without a cold one and a good laugh.
Beyond beverages, Tim is a vital part of the Barracudas’ day-to-day operations and team culture. From managing road trips to rallying the locker room before a big game, he brings leadership, loyalty, and a deep love for the game that makes him a cornerstone of the franchise.
